BLEACHER REPORT

DATE

May 2016 - May 2024

My journey with Bleacher Report began in the summer of 2016, where I took on the role of a graphic designer within the Social Moments Team. My primary responsibility was to brainstorm and execute engaging, innovative content—often referred to as 'scroll-stoppers'—in real time. This involved starting designs sometimes at the beginning or during a game and having them ready to post by the end, maximizing social engagement across B/R’s platforms. My work helped position Bleacher Report as a leading voice in sports media, consistently engaging fans in the moment and driving conversations in real time. It also helped the company bring home some hardware too.

Beyond creating content in real time, I also worked closely with the design department to deliver on-brand visuals to various departments across the company, including sales and marketing. Additionally, I supported the many portfolio brands of B/R social, ensuring consistency and quality across all visual content.

A key highlight of my time at Bleacher Report was helping to establish HighlightHER’s visual identity during its formative years, as B/R began to regularly prioritize women's sports content. Through persistent content ideation and creation outside the standard team content plans, I was proud to contribute to making Bleacher Report one of the first major sports media brands to more consistently cover women's sports. This work played a key role in boosting audience engagement and driving the brand's overall growth in a world where women's sports should have more regular coverage :)
